Updated product lines drive Haworth sales

New workplace trends helped boost sales for US office furniture maker Haworth.

Last year, the Michigan-based group unveiled a number of updated product ranges and refreshed its global showrooms to focus on health and well-being. It went on to win several prestigious awards for its new lines and was granted WELL Certification for its Los Angeles showroom by the International WELL Building Institute.

And it appears to have paid off. In a brief annual update, the group revealed that FY2017 sales had risen 5.3% to $2.04 billion driven by growth across each of its operating regions.

Haworth CEO Franco Bianchi said: “Haworth is celebrating another year of good financial results in 2017 and we are very proud of our strong growth. Our results demonstrate how well our strategy is working. The commercial interiors, lifestyle designs and performance technology businesses continue to evolve as the world of work and our customer needs change.”
