Phoenix Safe International, LLC Celebrates 10 Years of Business in the United States
Lebanon, IN (January 10, 2012) - Phoenix Safe International, LLC, the American arm of a multinational file and safe company, is proud to announce its 10th anniversary. Phoenix president Jeff McQueen launched the business in 2001 with Janet Pape, vice president of marketing and operations, and Penny Cooper, vice president of sales. Joined by office manager Sharon Maish, the trio still comprises the core of Phoenix and has built one of the nation’s leading suppliers of on-site records protection.
“Starting Phoenix was a dream come true for all of us,” says McQueen, who, with Pape and Cooper, formed Phoenix after they left Schwab Corp., a national manufacturer and distributor of fire files and safes. “Our passion to pursue a more personal and profitable business has brought incredible success and proves what a small group of enterprising and enthusiastic people can do.”
McQueen says Phoenix largely owes its prosperity to incomparable customer service for independent dealers. It’s helped the company flourish during the worst U.S. economy since the Great Depression. By selling directly to independent dealers and following a business model of outsourcing, Phoenix also has helped its partner companies grow.
“Working with independent dealers helps manage costs and improve profitability,” McQueen says. “Plus, we’ve built great relationships with dealers, offering sales training and competitive pricing to help them compete with, and thrive against, big-box stores.”
“And as Phoenix prepares to launch a new product line at the start of 2012, we’re looking forward to everything that’s new in store for the next 10 years and beyond.”
