Ghent announces new look and website; repositions itself for future

Lebanon, Ohio  (June 8, 2011) – Ghent, a manufacturer of visual communication products, announces a new brand image and website designed to represent a new strategy – evolving from strictly commodity office products and moving into more contemporary, solution-oriented products and services.   The company is shifting from product-focused to customer-focused.   With this announcement comes the launch of a new website (www.ghent.com) making it easier for dealers to get the information they need. 

Ghent began this evolution late 2010 with the launch of the Nexus family of collaboration products. Designed to improve the way people communicate in meetings and training sessions, Nexus has revolutionized the concept of portable whiteboards.  In fact, the Nexus Tablet has been named a finalist in NAOPA’s Award for Innovation of the Year.  This month, Ghent will reveal several new products at NeoCon 2011, which follow the same philosophy of solving real problems for customers.

Beyond products, Ghent is also evolving its service model.  Recognizing the void in customized and personal services offered to dealers and distributors in this industry, Ghent has made a commitment to understand dealer needs and provide unique tools and support.  While the new brand signifies growth and change, the company will maintain and build on its current reputation for quality products and hassle-free service.  Ghent remains committed to manufacture products in the United States enabling customization, small quantities, drop ship and quick ship programs. 

The company believes the new colors and font of the logo, as well as a new distinctive “g”, symbolize a more modern, friendly and open culture.   The logo is clean, simple and inviting.  All aspects of the new brand reflect the company’s fresh approach focused on customers.  Watch for the transition from old to new in the coming months.
