Ashland, VA (May 6, 2011) – Patricia W. Barber, President of The Supply Room Companies (TSRC, Inc) – an independent office products and furniture dealer in Virginia – announced today that the company has acquired certain assets of Frank Parsons of Hanover, Maryland. The acquisition was conducted through the bankruptcy courts of Maryland.

Frank Parsons was founded in 1938 in a small store front in Washington, DC. The company started with three people and grew to be the largest paper distributor in the metropolitan Washington area.

TSRC, Inc will operate Frank Parsons as a separate division in the Washington-Baltimore Metro area.
