 2011 Dealers' Choice Award Winners Some of the industry’s leading manufacturers had plenty to celebrate at the 2011 NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago, after being named recipients of the 2010 OFDA Dealers’ Choice Awards.
“OFDA and office furniture dealers throughout the country are honored to have these winning manufacturers as strong supporters of our industry,” stated Frank Gutwein, OFDA chair and president of Widmer Interiors, based in Peoria, IL. “These past few years have been among the most challenging for the dealer community in recent memory and these manufacturers have earned special recognition through their unwavering support. As winners of OFDA’s most sought-after-award this year, AIS, Herman Miller, Global – The Total Office, Allsteel, Steelcase, and The HON Company have again demonstrated their ongoing commitment to deliver high quality products and management support to dealers who sell their products. The OFDA Board, members and staff join me in congratulating them as recipients of our 2011 Manufacturer of the Year awards.”
OFDA presented the awards on Monday, June 13th during NeoCon. The annual awards are presented to manufacturers for their commitment and outreach to the dealer channel. The winning manufacturers were determined by the results of the Association’s annual OFDA Dealer Manufacturer Satisfaction Index Survey, a dealer poll designed to recognize best of class performance and topics of concern for the dealer community.
The survey asked dealers to evaluate up to four of their manufacturer business partners in six key categories: training, product lines, service and support, sales and marketing, management, and technology. OFDA received a record number of 1,433 verified dealer responses.
